Rodent Break Staff
Mortimer, Founding Rodent August 2002 - February 2005 Mortimer joined the team from Creever's Creatures in Rome, NY. He lived clandestinely in a college dorm and in a graduate student apartment, but spent most of his life on top of the dryer in a laundry room. Mortimer was a friendly, cuddly, and energetic hamster who was well-loved by the humans around him and happy to cuddle lonely any stressed-out college students who needed his services.

Rodent Break is dedicated to showcasing the finest, cuddliest, cutest, funniest, and best pet rodent photographs on the Web. We focus on all kinds of rodents, domesticated and wild alike, and have been known to feature other small and cuddly animals, such as small marsupials (sugar gliders) and lagomorphs (rabbits.) However, Rodent Break focuses on household rodents, such as hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, guinea pigs, chinchillas.... Several hundred photos of cute pets and other critters live here! Enjoy!
